Power Forum Video: Art Publishing in the Digital Age
Greg van Alstyne, Anton Vidokle, Adrian Searle and Melony Ward at the Art Toronto 2009 Power Forum
As part of Art Toronto 2009, the Power Plant organized a day of panels—titled the Power Forum—that tackled key issues for contemporary art and its audiences. This video documents the Power Forum entitled "Art Publishing in the Digital Age," which included Guardian art critic Adrian Searle, e-flux founding director Anton Vidokle and OCAD Strategic Innovation Lab research director Greg van Alstyne. Introduced by Power Plant curator Helena Reckitt and moderated by Canadian Art publisher Melony Ward, the panel broached both the positives and negatives of digital formats for critical writing.
