Its prizes for distinguished artistic achievement went to Montreal photographer Geneviève Cadieux, Toronto artist Robert Fones, Vancouver performance and visual artist Michael Morris, filmmakers David Rimmer (Vancouver) and Barbara Sternberg (Toronto) and Toronto painter Shirley Wiitasalo. The Saidye Bronfman Award for excellence in fine crafts went to Halifax metalsmith Kye-Yeon Son.
