Join Canadian Art Foundation Marketing and Communications Manager Elaine Gaito as we visit galleries, meet dealers and take in talks by art-world experts that illuminate the best exhibitions on view during the Canadian Art Gallery Hop. Meet at the Toronto Sculpture Garden, 115 King Street East, at 3:30 p.m. for a talk with artist Jed Lind about his new installation there, followed by two Distillery District gallery stops and a party at Monte Clark Gallery for Canadian Art’s fall issue. New Contemporaries members enjoy an expert tour of the creative maze that is The Artist Project, an independent producers’ fair. Members will learn how to train their eye for emerging artists’ works and how to start a collection with affordable art.
