In their one-evening-only gala installation, Toronto duo Daniel Borins and Jennifer Marman present an array of electronic flashes and lights in a winding black corridor. Evoking the night sky’s shooting stars as well as paparazzi-camera glamour, this is an environment on the edge of dreams, a place where northern lights and disco dancefloors magically sparkle and intertwine. |

In a unique gala performance of Logopagus, a star of last summer’s Quebec Triennial, artist duo Doyon-Rivest connects critical contemporary art with seductive advertising. Appropriating breezy ad conventions and irreverent performance traditions alike, this signature mix of costume and communication is a must-see—Mad Men meets the Yes Men.
