Canadian Art Foundation to double the value of the Youth Arts Bursary
In 2008, the Canadian Art Foundation will double the total value of the Youth Arts Bursary, a set of awards given to public galleries and artist-run centres to fund innovative visual-arts education initiatives for youths aged 5 to 18. This year, a total of $20,000 will be awarded, with a maximum of $7,500 available per organization.
To date, the Youth Arts Bursary has been awarded to visual art institutions and community organizations in Winnipeg, Windsor, Ottawa, Halifax, Toronto, Vancouver and Kamloops.
The application deadline is August 1, 2008.
