2010 Canadian Art Editorial Residency winner Sky Goodden |
The Canadian Art Foundation is pleased to announce that Sky Goodden is the winner of the 2010 Canadian Art Editorial Residency. The $7,000 national prize is open to students of art and art history in universities and art colleges across Canada. The winner works at Canadian Art magazine for two months in the summer, honing writing skills, researching editorial material and helping to produce book and exhibition reviews.
Sky Goodden received a BFA in art history from Concordia University and is currently a candidate for an MFA degree in criticism and curatorial practice at OCAD. She is managing editor of the Toronto-based arts publication ONE HOUR EMPIRE and has also worked at the literary journal Descant. She was a co-curator of “The Matter of Loss,” a collaborative exhibition involving OCAD and the Art Gallery of Ontario that was held in 2009.
