The Canadian Art Editorial Residency for post-secondary students increases in value to $7,000
The Canadian Art Editorial Residency is an annual award designed to encourage the development of visual arts writing in Canada.
The award provides an excellent opportunity for Canadian university and college students of art and art history to hone their writing and editorial skills. The winner will work at Canadian Art magazine from June 15 to August 15, conducting research and producing book and exhibition reviews. This introduction to art magazine publishing and writing is intended to foster new critical and editorial talent.
This prize is awarded on the basis of a 500-word written exhibition review and one sample of recent academic writing on art.
